Today I begin my journey down to London before heading off tomorrow on a 938 mile cycle ride down to Cannes. I am doing this to raise money for the Karen Green Foundation. The Karen Green Foundation is a Nottingham based charity set up in 2011 following the death of Karen Green, who lost her fight with leukaemia. It supports organisations and individuals researching, treating and fighting leukaemia and cancers of the blood.
The bike ride is broken down into 28 stages of 40-60km each. Over 6 days, I hope to complete all of the gruelling course to arrive in Cannes next week.
